the Chambray Pinafore: Styled 3 Ways
Our Chambray Pinafore is an instant classic!
Its perfect for rolling in the grass, going to farmer's markets or playing around the house. It's so good for fall and winter! This piece is a real heirloom, the chambray is thick enough to be sturdy and washes perfectly. The more you wash it the better it gets! The possibilities of styling this piece are endless. The neutral color goes with everything! Our pinafore features two straps with 3 button holes each for a lots of adjustment room. The skirt is gathered in the back with elastic for a good fit. Just like a great pair of jeans this pinafore will be stiffer at first but the more you wash and wear the more worn in it will become. No need to worry when your girl wears this piece, it's made to get dirty!
Styled #1: The Winter Princess
For this look I paired the pinafore with a long sleeve onesie that features a cute little ruffle on the sleeve. I love pairing onesies with pinafores because they stay tucked in and cover the diaper! If your girl is older, a regular tee works great too. This is an easy go-to look. I added our fur collar for the final touch. Its simple, feminine and classic!
Styled #2: The Free Spirit
This look has more of a boho vibe. It features a loose fitting turtleneck sweater with over-sized sleeves. This look is comfy and has a laid back look with the boxy sweater spilling over the fitted pinafore. Pair your pinafore with a sweater for an un-expected, cooler weather outfit.
Styled #3: The Trendsetter
This look is unique but so easy to accomplish! I paired the pinafore with a black and white checkered button down shirt ( a hand-me down from big brother ). The pieces are so classic but when paired together like this, it is a cool modern twist. I added a fur collar and wool bonnet for a winter look!
